Later Skater!
Well kids, I am off to Quilt Market. I leave for Portland in a few hours and I will miss you all terribly. This time I will have some serious arm candy. I bought a bag from DrakaB Design’s Etsy Shop a while back and fell. in. love. She is my new favorite person. The radical pink one in front is for me, of course, and the sassy little green one in the back is a present for my Mom. She has been instructed not to read the blog until after market but I get my lack of patience from her so we’ll see. If you are going to be in Portland and you see this awesome pink bag then say hi to me (I will be the one carrying it). If you see the green bag then say hi to my mom. She will love it and most likely tell you all sorts of embarrassing tid bits about my teenage years. She loves that.
Anywhoo… See you in a week!

Great to see you in Portland!! Now it’s back to work……OY! That is, after decompressing from all the color and pattern overload. Nothing like getting together with other fabric freaks to get ideas off and running. Keep up the good work and thanks for the ETSY tip (another one of my new addictions)

I DID IT!!! I did not look at you blog! I totally deserve another present! Thank you my little mermaid, I was a complete fashionista (totally HTM)
with my “Nest” bag. I have had so many requests for the pattern, so I am sending customers to Etsy…DrakaB. So chic!
Market was AWESOME and the rumble on “Nest” was a lunar off the charts hit! Was that the Editor of American Patchwork and Quilting bending your ear about a Feature? Uhhuh, Uhhuh.
Okay, you are gonna have to kill me. I have way too much information. I pled no comment regarding your next line. But I would like another cool present. Love you

I did not see you and your adorable pink bag at market, but I did see someone sporting an apron made from Full Moon Forest and it made me wish even more to run into you. I am an aspiring fabric designer and I love your work. Hope you had a good time!

Hope you had an immensely good time at QM - being on the wrong side of the atlantic on this occasion, I can only live vicariously through other people’s blog antics - so quick, tell all! Can’t wait to get my hands on some Nest by the by, last week I showed it to my resident starlings who sit on my craft room windowsill. They were suitably impressed.

I just had to tell you how much I LOVE and ADORE the flutterby collection. I did a little blanket for my little girl out of it and it turned out to die for. My pattern was very simple and cute as can be. I will post a picture of it on my blog so you can see it if you would like.
Have fun at Quilt Market. I wish so badly I was going to see all there is to see!

Dear Tula,
Your Nest range is stunning! I cannot wait to get my hot little hands on some, they will make my dolls sing! They are going to be particularly suited to some “Melly and Me” designs. Love love love the cleverness of your designs. This line is going to sit right against my precious hoard of Full Moon Forest fabrics - which are deemed too precious to cut into just yet…
You are a truly inspired designer!
Cheers from Down Under

Adorable bags! It was so fun chatting at Market. Hopefully you don’t think I’m a stalker. I don’t have any pictures of you through the windows of your place or anything else creepy, I promise. But I am a bit of a copy cat - I got a little pink extension to put in my hair. I would have gotten orange but they didn’t have any. So much for being original.

My dear Tula:
I just received your Flutterby kit from Cabbages and Roses. I am so excited about it because it is so beautiful! The jelly rolls look so awesome on my kitchen table. The fabrics, the pattern. I haven’t been this excited about quilting in years. And don’t you just sound like a doll on your blog? I feel as if we are friends. Hope you have fun at The Market
Best wishes, Mary Anne
