And the winner is (are)…
Hello happy contestants! You have made me very happy. I feel so popular like a cheerleader with perfect hair and tons of lip gloss. If I weren’t a chubby brunette with a secret sci-fi obsession I might actually believe this little fantasy.
Before I announce the winner I am going to ask you to sit through a review of my findings. This was something of a market research scheme for my future fabric groups. I want to know what you want. Why? because I’m a giver. The clear favorite was the noble dog. This group was also the most specific, almost every dog vote was followed by a particular breed and of the 46 votes for dog there were 22 different breed faves. So I declare this group a dedicated one. The close second coming in at 35 votes was for the cat. These were followed closely by the owl, the giraffe and the bird. I have to say that my favorite was probably the one vote for unicorn followed by a near vote for “husband” as their favorite animal. All in all I am impressed by the diversity. So thanks again for playing my game.
The moment you have been waiting for is finally here. The randomly selected winners are as follows:
Tote Bag
Stacey: Owl, Former Dolphin lover in recovery
Charm Packs
Theresa: Red & White Tabby Cat
Krista: Flamingo (the pinkest pick in the bunch)
Melissa: Cat
Rachel: Moose
You lucky kids need to send your addresses to jenny at tulapink dot com. They are packaged and ready to go, all they need is a place to land!
Thanks again for playing my game and helping me out. You are the best!

Oh my gosh. Husband is the funniest answer! Unicorn is tugging at my heart though. Hello 1980s!

I do not see the Pinkerbug on the list. I know that in reading the small (fine) print I am disqualified because I gave birth to you… a long and glorious process…NOT. I still think I should have made the list. I don’t have my glasses on so if I did make the list and just didn’t see it??? You would be forgiven this time. Yeah to your winners, I think this should be a regular thing, prizes and all. Way tooooooo fun!

Aha! I wondered if there wasn’t an even bigger scheme than popularity behind this. We can’t wait to see what you’ll do next Tula. Flutterby has been a smash hit.

I just found your blog, so I missed the previous post. I would have said that my favorite mammal is the fox (glad to see someone represented) and my favorite bird the raven (sadly missing from the list). But I’m happy to see that hedgehogs and meerkats were popular amongst your readers. Cheers!
(P.S. There’s nothing wrong with being a chick who loves sci-fi…it just means you’re a cool chick.)

What a beautiful chart - inspiration for a new fabric line!?!?
I’ve been reading the early scifi/fantasy of Patricia Briggs and really loving it. Check her out if you have the time.

So I need to ask what is wrong with a “secret sci-fi obsession”?? LOL, all the best people have them

I am very excited as NEST has just arrived at my favorite fabric shop - I am placing my order as i type (talk about multitasking) I have to lodge a mini complaint tho - you forgot to add my nomination for the humble Hare to your list of favorite animals! No matter, it must be a British thing! Keep producing your fab designs,
Kim McBirnie.
