Recently started reading your blog and was happily surprised to find out that your mom owns the shop in Stewartsville. My parents live in St. Joe and my mom is a frequent customer. I am in Ohio, but we always stop in when I am in town--what a gorgeous place. Sometimes we spend hours in there. I'm a 30-something mom of two working on a career change and investigating how to get into the fabric design field. Sometime if you have the chance and are willing, I'd love to pick your brain about it. I'm sure you are busy, but please email if you have a chance. Thanks!

Holy Cow! I love your fabric, and so I decided to check out your blog. Lo and Behold, I live in that city nearby your town that has the Starbucks. :) WOW! I definitely have to come to your mom's quilt shop. I have driven by that quilt shop my whole life (I'm from Chillicothe) but now I have developed an interest in quilting. This is just the most exciting news I have heard all day! :) Welcome to the neighborhood.

Yay for changes! Being closer to family is always nice. I order from your mom's shop frequently and she is super nice.

Dear Tula,
Do you have any connection with Tula, Russia? It's a formerly closed city (Soviet times) of 600,000 people, about 2.5 hours' drive south of Moscow. I saw your name in a Moda ad and searched for your fabrics. Beautiful. Some of them, and especially your logo, are consistent with traditional Russian design...perhaps this could be another source of inspiration to you (though it does not sound as if you are in danger of running out)!
Keep up the good work and best wishes for 2009!

Hi Jen!
We will miss you here in Dallas! You are a great gal who can bloom anywhere you are planted...so I'm sure you are having a blast already.

Will you be hiding mice in your next fabric collection?

Hey Tula. Jamie my friend you met at your mom's quilt shop is a super gal. I begged her to e-mail you about starting a flickr group with your fabric. We are totally crazy about your line. I have included the link. I live in the country too, and I love it. Not in MO though, TX and not close to Dallas. Thanks or letting her start the flickr group. Take care and stay warm. MO is a lot colder than Dallas. We had 70 degrees yesterday.
