Hey There Honey Bun!
It’s like a little slice of life! And it could be all yours. A Honey Bun is like a Jellyroll only smaller and cuter. It has 40 1.5 in x 42 in strips of every piece in Neptune. How exciting is that! All you gotta do is leave me a comment and I will randomly pick someone to receive this little treasure. You will love it and I will love you. Don’t worry you don’t have to be clever, even though it will make me smile and that should be reward enough. So bring it on and win some free stuff. I will keep taking entries until Friday the 13th, because that sounds totally ominous and fun. I will announce the winner the following Monday, the 16th of February. Happy commenting! P.S. Some of you may have noticed that the entry changed a little. That is because I accidentally deleted it. Don’t fret, those of you who have already entered are still entered. Sorry, I am a nerd sometimes in my haste to do things and end up creating chaos. All is well now.
February 5th, 2009 at 12:16 pm
Okay here is my comment/question, does random ever mean #1? Or am I going to have to come back and comment again? Luck would never have it that way would it? What a sweet treat, thanks for sharing!
February 5th, 2009 at 12:19 pm

February 5th, 2009 at 12:22 pm

February 5th, 2009 at 12:23 pm
Oh, that is SO adorable! If I don’t win it, I’ll have to find it online, our po-dunk town doesn’t carry anything remotely “modern”. *sigh*
February 5th, 2009 at 12:24 pm

February 5th, 2009 at 12:59 pm
Love the Neptune fabric-can’t wait to have it. Can you tell patience is a virtue that I don’t possess enough of!!!! Haven’t tried the honey buns yet, but i love the jelly rolls, so I’m sure we would be a match made in heaven. Plus, maybe working with smaller strips would force me to be more patient…no, probably not, but it’s a nice thought, isn’t it?
February 5th, 2009 at 1:04 pm
A honey bun…in Neptune…I really…REALLY…really want one!!!
February 5th, 2009 at 1:06 pm
Oh I always get so excited when you have new fabric out! I just can’t get enough of your designs!
February 5th, 2009 at 1:07 pm
I am sooooo in for this! I would love to make something quilty with your fabric!
Love your designs and I am such a sucker for all things nautical!
February 5th, 2009 at 1:07 pm
Nice stump! Do you know this tongue twister? “A skunk sat on a thump. The stump thunk the skunk stunk. The skunk thunk the stump stunk.”
Anyway, I love your collection … I’m really into navy blue mixed with light and bright colors lately.
February 5th, 2009 at 1:21 pm
I would love a honey bun! Thank you and happy Valentines day!
February 5th, 2009 at 1:21 pm
That. is. adorable. I am working on a quilt using Flutterby charm packs, and would love to make my next one out of the Neptune line! Too fabulous. I love your designs.
February 5th, 2009 at 1:26 pm
I want, I want, I want, I NEED! It’s darling– and that salmon-y pink is right up my ally. I love it all! Thanks for being so generous.
February 5th, 2009 at 1:32 pm
I love the colors you use in your lines!!! I would love to win
February 5th, 2009 at 1:35 pm
Oh, you really don’t understand how much I’m looking forward to the release of Neptune next month. I already know what I’m going to make out of it, but then there’s the added possibility of other items to make as well. I don’t know what my strategy for puching is going to be yet - I was thinking buy a charm pack to get a sample of all the prints, and then buy some yardage based off what I like best. But you know, a honey bun would be a good substitute to get the flavor of the line in real life.
February 5th, 2009 at 1:35 pm
I would love to win this giveaway! I will be waiting with fingers crossed which will make working around the house quite difficult. But worth it!
February 5th, 2009 at 1:37 pm

February 5th, 2009 at 1:54 pm

February 5th, 2009 at 2:23 pm
Okay, I NEED this honey bun! I’m dying to make my son a Neptune bowling shirt, and can’t decide which colorways to go with…blues, greens, blacks, a mix? Having the actual fabric in hand would be so very helpful! Then I could make myself a cute little quilt out of the pieces!
February 5th, 2009 at 2:25 pm
I adore neptune and cannot wait for it to go on sale. Please include me in the giveaway.

Where I work, we can’t use the computers for anything personal - and I’m thinking the phrase “honey bun” might trip the sensors, so it’s a good thing I’m reading this and responding at home. Since I’m at home, it could even be called a schmoopsie-pooh. If I were to win it, I would call it schmoopsie-pooh. At least twice. In writing.
February 5th, 2009 at 11:28 pm

Hi my names Nadia and I am a fabric horde-aholic! Yeah I buy and I buy and until recently I thought I was alone. I as quilting away and only thought there was old lady flower fabric to buy and then I found the seedy (sp?) underbelly of the textile arts. I have been buying up anything I can find online. We have a serious lack of COOL fabric stores in Toronto.
Ramble, Ramble…thanks for being so creative and I really like your doggy portrait fabric…why not turn it into a line for MODA…lets bring back the poker playing dogs while were at it
Thanks, what a charmed life you lead
Nadia
