Hushabye
So Here’s the deal. I get five to ten emails a week asking me where people can find those owls from Full Moon Forest. They are pretty much just gone. Gone. Gone. Gone. I have some left but I’m saving them for my grandkids or maybe to sell on ebay when they become antiques. Think of this collection as a Full Moon Forest II using everything I have learned in between then and now. I always hear people say ” If I knew then…” well I do so I did. I loved that first fabric line and it sort of came and went in a flash. I never felt like it had the chance it deserved. By the time people started to see it and ask for it it was all snatched up. So Hushabye is an homage to my humble beginnings. I hope y’all like it. By the way…
Hushabye is due in stores in August!

April 20th, 2009 at 11:33 pm
Just divine!
April 21st, 2009 at 12:38 am
Yay! I love the palette…so soft. Very different from the colors your other lines have been printed in. I loved Full Moon Forest so much. I’m lucky to still have a full fat quarter set in my collection. Now that it’s so rare though I know I’m going to find it almost impossible to cut into!
April 21st, 2009 at 12:46 am
Wow, these are just beautiful. I wonder how long until these will be available down here in NZ, if ever.
April 21st, 2009 at 7:28 am
Worth the wait! You’ve got my mind thinking of new projects today. I’ll be camping out at the quilt store come summer, waiting for the shipment. Come to think of it, I’ve always wanted to grab a sleeping bag and have a sleepover IN the quiltstore, admist the delicious fabric. Maybe I’ll hear the owls hooting then.
April 21st, 2009 at 8:27 am
I love it, especially the owls, I’m glad you brought them back.
April 21st, 2009 at 11:21 am

April 22nd, 2009 at 12:54 pm
Full Moon Forest is an exquisite collection, well deserving of an encore. What a wonderful idea! I especially love the damasks, with their two-color makeover - a lovely enhancement to a marvelous concept. My best wishes for your continued success.
April 22nd, 2009 at 3:34 pm
Tula, OMG this is wonderful! I had a call from my Moda rep yesterday to make a before market appt., and now I can’t wait to see her (Diane Toycen). I think I only have a fatquarter of the owls, silly me, but I do have some of the brown bunnys from that collection, which I covet. I also have a couple of charm packs. If I have a grandbaby, I will make something for my house. Because I am sure that no daughter-in-law would understand. (there aren’t any in the wings!)
Thanks for making wonderful designs, it makes my job so much fun! Julie

April 24th, 2009 at 2:59 pm
Back in March, I blogged about my troubles finding Neptune here in Toronto, Ontario (I ended up settling for six charm packs purchased online); I predict I shall be going through simliar issues when this fabric comes out.
BEAUTIFUL.

May 15th, 2009 at 6:53 pm
I am so excited for this fabric. I have a friend at quilt market as I’m typing who was on a mission to get a bundle of it at sample spree last night. I’ve got my fingers crossed. If that doesn’t happen I’ll have it on pre-order asap. A friend just gave me her leftover bunny damask from full moon forest and i felt like a little kid in a candy store. I love your fabric!
May 17th, 2009 at 6:13 pm

I am so happy I saw the picture of your new owls here. Over at the Moda fabrics website they have the picture of your owl upside down! I couldn’t figure out what I was looking at and just dismissed it. I have been looking for more of the owl print from Full Moon Forest but instead I am NOW looking forward to purchasing this fabric. I am sure that I am not alone in thanking you for almost re-doing Full Moon Forest. What a treat!
August 6th, 2009 at 5:13 pm

Tula Pink, you are AMAZING!! I am a decorator in Nashville, TN; not a quilter, so excuse my silly question, but I have looked all over the internet for these fabrics by the yard. I would like to use them as bedding, pillow covers, etc. to decorate as well as for dresses for my daughter. Can these fabrics be purchased in multiple, continuous yards?
Thanks so much, I’m a HUGE FAN!!
