The Mists of Pinkerville

magicmonkeyfairy.jpgProject Runway started last week so naturally I lost all track of time and reality. It’s a very severe side effect of the show. I spent the next few days draping fabric over my lamp desperately trying to make it work. This is the sort of thing that happens when your office is in your house, but I digress.

After a couple of days of make believe I decided to venture outside and was totally overwhelmed by this mist that had settled over the whole farm. I half expected some magical monkey fairy to spring from a bush in a trail of sparkle and punch me in the face. I don’t know if they actually do that but I am beyond that age where I think that all magical creatures are my friend. Mostly I just thought it was funny so I made a picture of it.

On a more serious note… It’s magical right?

Monkeys are courtesy of Theo Delphinian and the Love Bandits circa 2006.

    What a gorgeous picture! We have days like this occassionally in the Shenandoah Valley in Virginia. It indeed seems very magical.

    Totally Magical. I would consider installing a flying monkey faerie detector. Mine was worth every penny!

    Totally and completely magical. No wonder people don’t like snow if flying monkeys will punch you in the face.

    that picture cracked me up… project runway has a way of sucking you in… after watching the first show my brother decided we needed to finally take a trip to MOOD… somehow i walked out only getting 9 yards of fabric… but that place felt like heaven… it was dangerous. {& yes…magical!}

    All of the above and then some… PR is just too awesome. Flying monkey repellent is really expensive I suggest a baseball bat next time.

    I too love Project Runway and I do find myself desiring to make clothes. I would LOVE to have a recording of Tim Gunn saying “Make it work!”
    This fog/mist…..is CREEEEPY! It reminds me of a scary movie, but your monkeys lightened it all up for me. LOL!

    I love PR. Everytime I watch it, I decide that I am going to make my own clothes from now on. And then when the show is over, I snap back to reality and the face that I am not a seamstress.

    Love the picture! I really like how the red gate stands out. Did you alter the picture?

    I didn’t do anything to the picture! It just looked like that! I have 100 more pics but the monkeys looked best on this one.

    OMG, that would be the freakiest thing ever! I have a huge fear of monkeys anyway not to mention monkeys with wings and boxing gloves!

    Ahhh, SNOW! I live in Toronto and I am really missing the snow! Would love this to be the view out my front window! I would even take the threat of boxing monkeys!
