Karma

I just got wind of this a minute ago. Over at Jolly Jabber they are auctioning off quilts and stuff to raise some $$$ to help out the Haitians. Lissa Alexander over at Moda Fabrics made this Neptune quilt that she has donated to the auction. It’s super cute and you should totally have it so go bid on it. After she made this quilt I liked it so much that I made one too. So if you get it then we can be like sisters, unless you’re weird, then we’ll just be cousins or something.

Bottom line is this- you get something cool, some people you don’t know get stuff they need, I think you’re awesome and the Karma gods owe you one which is always good. I am not really seeing a down side here.

    Bonjourno……………………………………………..
So I am desperately clearing PRIMO space for Plume which is due any day…the excitement is really, almost too much for me to handle..(wiping away a tear) but I am holding on. Barely. I had your email once but you never answered so this is as good as anything I suppose. Ignore me here, ignore me there, come Minneapolis in May I stalk again. But I really think you should let me ask you a few questions for my newsletter to all my customers so that I can impress them that I actually (sorta) know you and then they buy all the fabric and patterns and precuts, and I get really rich and hang with the Kardashians… So it is really all about me. And karma or no, if I buy a Tula Pink quilt, Tula herseff better dun made it. Heart u. Cheers. Your faithful stalker , P

i so love the way you made your quilt. i know this is a really late entry but i have just spent the last six hours trying to find the last of what is left of the wonderful neptune. i have been trying for three months and i have just about given up on a few of these. the deep navy is so hard, the florals and fish are impossible. i did manage triton, poseidon and the rings. i never knew anything could be so hard. maybe i will just wing it like you did. just start sewing in other navy’s that just might work. i am an improv quilter but i still have that matchy thing going on. i am hoarding all of my hushabye. i have made one nest quilt and am about to see if someone is hoarding neptune to trade but i love my nest.
sorry….i am whining on an old blog when i should be cleaning up my sewing studio, planning dinner, going to the gym…anything but this for six hours.

feel better already….and don’t even get me started on those cans.

love ya tula…you are the best.
