I Heart my MOM (or) Killer Kicks Part I
My name is Tula Pink and I am a shoe addict. I may qualify for state funded medical treatment. Anywhoo I love shoes and I love me so it only seems appropriate that the two should become one. I first heard about Zazzle from Heather Ross’ blog. Check out her shoes, super cute. This site allows you to upload your own artwork and they custom make the shoes. You get to pick the binding color, grommet color etc… It’s totally brilliant.
This pair was made from my Plume line for my mom who suffers from the same shoe affliction. I have been making my mom’s presents since birth, literally (think about it, it makes sense). Now that I’m past the acceptable point of popsicle sticks and white glue I’ve had to start getting really creative. So… shoes! Now she wants a pair of shoes for every fabric line I have ever made. I swear, I try to do something nice and all I get is more work. At least I don’t have to do anything painful. These were my Mom’s mother’s day present. Love you mom!

If we did the same thing with your fabrics, would you mind? I wouldn”t want to infringe on your copyrights or business.
My 8 year old just said, “cute and crazy, I want a pair”! Yes, I’m raising a shoe addict!

Gorgeous shoes.
I second that request—please, please, please offer your designs on Zazzle! I would buy a pair in a heartbeat!
I would deffo buy Neptune shoes – but not the Keds (I’m not sure HR realized people don’t wear Keds anymore – Converse is so the shoe of choice)…you seem to appropriately grasp the need for rubber toes.
Wonderful shoes! I would get Neptune shoes and Nest shoes for myself!
Didn’t you know that the reward for doing a great job is more work? Lol. These are fabulous!
These shoes are so incredibly awesome! What a perfect print for a shoe. I love the second print on the tongue. Your mom is so lucky to have these one-of-a-kinds!

Fab Shoes!!!! Just wondering if you are offering them on zazzle?

Whoa!!!I love them…I do like the looks of the converse better then keds…I think a pair of shoes with a neat looking skirt and bag would dazzle my quilting friends to buy some for themselfves…Please tell us how you got them made…I went to the site and they do not offer the converse rubber toe in the ladies…Did you order something different…Linda in Dakota…
I saw them on Zazzle, and I’d like to buy a pair. Are they men’s shoes? Just curious about sizing, if you happen to know. Thanks, Ms. Pink!
